Application Scope

Applicants are able to request funding towards: -

• Research assistance
• Research materials
• Conference Travel
• Research Trip

In the following areas: -

• Selection, breeding, production, disease control, management, marketing etc

Application Criteria

• To further research and make a contribution to New Zealand's ornamental horticultural community.
• The support of the Foundation will be acknowledged in all written reports and presentations made in assocation with the project.
• The Foundation will receive a report on the results of the research within 90 days of the completion of the project.
• Research results will be disseminated by pulication and where appropriate by industry presentation.
• Scientific reports will be supported by a "plain English" version for use in general horticultural publications.
• The Foundation to be financially recognised where the research undertaken results in a significant financial gain to the grantee.

Application Process

• Applications can be received at any time but grants normally close on 31 March annually

Application Form

• This must be completed in full and accompanied by full details of the proposed research project.
• Additional explanatory information should be submitted with the application but should be no more than one A4 page in length.
